[At least he's laughing. Sousuke whistles, short and sharp to try to get Nike's attention, but when that doesn't work he steps into a pair of shoes and heads into the yard himself.]

[Kindred spirits and all. He gets Nike by the collar and gently tugs him away. Somebody's going to stay outside for a little while. Once he gets him clipped to the lead on his cable run, Sousuke makes his way back to Momo.]

[Equally as excited but hopefully not about to go hump the dog in return. Sousuke offers a hand to help Momo up--the ground's got to be freezing--then nods.]
If Nike's calmed down, he can come too, but maybe give him a little bit to relax. You can come in, though. I've got the skewers in the oven to warm back up, Kagami said that was better than the microwave.
[It took longer but Sousuke's not in a huge hurry. Not yet, anyway.]

But he takes Sousuke's hand and rights himself, then uses his opposite hand to swipe at his butt to clear it of debris.]

Sousuke's only a little surprised at the hand holding. He lets him hang on, though he doesn't stop walking back into the house.]
No, he's house trained but he'll start jumping on the furniture and he'll probably try to eat the kushiyaki right out of your hand. And no, he and Kuroko left for the sports center. Kuroko's one of my housemates here. The other is Toph, she's usually home but she's also twelve. [And blind and about as flirtatious as a brick so the less time Momo spends with her, the better.]
[He's already tried to flirt with Toph, but he'd be sooner to recognize her by a blind comment than by her actual name. He's quiet and weirdly well-behaved in light of this, swinging Sousuke's arm around as they move inward.]
